Aside from Cinematic blah blah, sounds good to me. Well, I wish they would've used Overwork's name instead of Wow-works, though, that's pretty lame too. Still, I was expecting far worse.

I find it extremely disturbing that Wow, the shitiest Sega dev is merged with one of my favourites.
hmmmm I think that as a team they divided up the parts.Quote:
Wow, Smilebit was merged out of existence. Overworks at least got to keep half their name.

Smilebit + smaller part of Amusement Vision = Smilebit
Overwow !! I like that :)Quote:

This sucks. Just when the branches were really making themselves distinct, this happens.
I'm a little confused..
Amusement Vision + Smilebit = Amusement Vision
Smilebit + Amusement Vision (smaller portion) = Smilebit
So, Amusement is split into a large and small part, to be a part of two separate teams?
Goodbye Sega Rosso and UGA, sort of..
Oh, and I love Over-wow! I hope it sticks. I hate "Cinematic Online Games".. sounds as bad as "Rockstar". Why didn't they just call themselves "Electronic Entertainment"? If you're gonna be generic, go all the way.. And does cinematic mean we're going to get more Shenmue-type games?
oh wait, it's tentative.. whew!
so there's only like 2 new names.....ummmm wow?
Goodbye creativity, goodbye.Quote:
Sonic Team + UGA = Sonic Team
This one doesn't seem to mean anything, has Rosso even made anything aside from Initial D (yet)?Quote:
Hitmaker + Sega Rosso = Hitmaker
Yes, this name is very very stupid.Quote:
Wow Entertainment + Overworks = Wow-works (tentative)
I'm curious on how this is going to end up. AV was mostly on the GC and Smilebit avoided the GC completely. It'll be interesting to see what kind of games come out of them.Quote:
Amusement Vision + Smilebit = Amusement Vision
Shenmue online? I certainly hope not.Quote:
Suzuki Yu's company = Cinematic Online Games (tentative)
I know this part of smilebit is the sports team, but I'm wondering what portion/people from AV are going to this.Quote:

Cosmic Smash.

The guys who made Virtua NBA and Virtua Striker no doubt.
"Shenmue online? I certainly hope not."
Shenmue online would rock like crazy. Walking around and challenging people to fights or arm wrestling while talking shit would be fun as hell. Gambling with other people would be fun as hell too. Heck, you might be able to go to the arcade and challenge someone to VF1 or something, or just start a fight and trash the arcade. Maybe walk into a bar and start a fight as well.
Unless it's like RE online, then it might suck. Survival horror would be lame online. Your partner would probably piss you off like crazy if yout ry to finish the game.
