i had my heart set on the fed 5, but they're gonna be outta stock for a while so i went ahead and got the holga starter kit. i know a few of you on the boards have mentioned being into photography at one point or another and i was wondering if any of you have had any experience with the holga. i just want some feedback on how pics turn out an' your experiences with'em and whatnot. hopefully tomorrow i'll get to take some pics. thanks.

Check out the boards at lomo.us...lots of good info there. Never had a Holga, but I had a Lomo for a little while. Cool camera until it broke :(
Do yourself a favor and buy the Fed 5 off eBay. I forget how much the Lomography site was selling them for, but I know it was really expensive. I got mine for about $20. The seller I got it from is no longer around, but I can recommend alex-photo as a reputable seller.

Or PM click stick. He'll tell you all about the Lomo's amazing ability to take blurry pictures in low light situtations.
yeah, i checked out the e-bay stuff about a week ago an' i think i'll order from there for the fed 5. i've checked out the photography thread in the galleria. pretty nice stuff. once i get some pics i guess i'll post in it.Quote:

A Lomo isn't really special....its pretty much just like a standard manual camera. Post some of your stuff in the photography thread if you can.
