Glad to see VF4: Evo got nice reviews...
...though the RaH scores faze me not. I'm still buying it. Ha.

The mag's review of Rent-a-Hero No. 1 is hilarious due to the factual errors in it, plus it's just a non-stop bash-fest without any real justification for it being given. Despite that, it was a very good mag this month, with a fantastic feature article on the history of fighting games.

I didnt get my issue yet. I HATE seeing review scores when I didnt get the mag. Yeah, I know I dont have to look but its so tempting.

I dont think Star Was KotOR is a 10 either. Its a 9.

Guess you could subtrack a point or two and you'll get close to what the score should actually be.

which is funny since it seems that EB is the only store carrying Rent-a-Hero...you would think GMR would pull a little GI bias to boost sales... :blank:

Just because you thought Rent Hero was good doesnt mean mags wont diss it. Hell, that game is going to get shitty reviews all over the place. Are you going to say they suck too?

I had to laugh at the latest issue of Play when they rated Tomb Raider a B. GOOD MY ASS!

How can I think RaH was good if I haven't even played it? I'm just surprised at how poorly the game is doing in most mags, and for the most nagging of reasons too. An entire paragraph or so being spent on how much the game sucks because it only supports the d-pad for character movement is just a bit much.

If VF4 EVO deserves an 8 or lower, then every other game deserves a 5 or lower. Don't knock VF. Playing VF at a semi high level is equal to the first time SF2 came out multiplied by a 100. Some of the shiet you can pull off in that game is hilarious. SC is pretty hilarious too.
