Well, today was the first day. highlights:
- Wrong history class (Honors instead of AP)
- Lunch is friggin' early
- Had an essay to write
The worst thing about Higschool is all the pointless drama that you, and everybody else will go through.
So....
For those who started today:
How was your first day, darling? :D
You poor bastards. Just make sure you get your shit done. I knew some people who absolutly hated HS...so they screwed around, ended up failing and had to redo the year. Hey, ya hate the place? Great, fuck around and get another year tacked on genius.Quote:

There's no way I could get up at 6 AM for any class. One of my teachers used to have a hanging on her wall that said "I'd enjoy the day more if it started later"- my feelings exactly. 8:00 AM-2:55 PM isn't too bad.
My freshman year was nothing too spectacular gradewise, but I started doing better in the middle of 10th grade. Eventually, I got mostly As in my junior and senior years, graduating with about a 3.5. My teachers were pretty nice. The math teacher was one of the VERY nicest- except for the times when someone got his goat. Then- it would be time to watch out. While I was in the lunch line one day, I heard him burst out of the theater yelling " :curse: WHO disrupted my study hall? You think it's funny? Then come right here and laugh in my face! :curse: ". Not quite something you'd expect. A deafening hush fell over everyone within earshot.
If I were in HS right now, I'd prefer to start the school year on September 21 (the end of summer)- even if it meant staying until June 21.
The main reason FL starts so early is so the first semester will be over in December, and when you get back from school in January, you won't have to worry about exams. I'll finally be in the correct History class tomorrow, and I'll have to make up 3 days of work.
Going back to college end of month..basically means I get to sleep in later and drink a lot more beer and probably smoke less pot...but maybe not.
