Completed it a minute ago, now to do more than just stumble through the stages. I couldn't believe the size of that last katamari. :)

On the last level I nearly managed to wipe out everything... mountains, islands, clouds... Save a few specks it was all ocean. It was like 600m or something

I made the mistake of renting this and Fable at the same time. It sucks having to divide time between them.

I thought I wouldn't enjoy Katamari that much based on the videos of it but I really like it. The whole atmosphere and feel makes me nostalgic for the early days of the PS1 and Saturn. I agree that the music is awesome. Some of it is good because it's good and some of it is good because it's so bad(Daytona syndrome).
