Yeah, my roommate's been playing the game and also said she got motion sick.Quote:

Maybe it's the clunky ass camera. Though my roommate did swear off the games after the Genesis days. This is the first 3D game I've seen her sit down and play on her own accord (i.e. not multiplayer with the group).Quote:

I don't know why it took us so long to have a scores thread. Go here and report.
But...Katamari brings people TOGETHER! (Literally)Quote:

James wrote up a really nice review. I think he said perfectly what we had all been thinking.
Edit: I submited it to Gamerankings too.
This just in!
TNL now has it's own score thread for Katamari Damacy! Go here and see how you stack up to the compitition!
The only motivation to play this game I have left is to compete in it. Don't cock block me.
Is the series dead after tomorrow's NA PSP release? They appear to be waving goodbye. Translator needed.
If it is dead after the PSP release, then the DS was simply a rumor?Quote:

I don't know one of the kanji, but the translation goes like this:
Everyone Loves Katamari On the Web closed on March 17th, 2006. Thank you for the long time.
I'd guess if the site's closed there isn't any hope for another game...
The guy that made it said he didn't want to do another Katamari game, but instead try something new. He only did the sequel because so many people demanded it.Quote:

Namco's the least whorish of the big Japanese companies, though I still wonder if they're going to push on without the main guy.
That must be why we are on the 7th version of Tekken and and 6th Ridge Racer when they both started during the 32-bit generation.Quote:

Obviously, Capcom is the #1 whorish company. Sega is not much better (how many Sonic games are there?). Konami makes a fuckton of Yu-Gi-Oh games, and it's debateable (sp) if Castlevania is "whored out".
But, I would love to see Katamari whored out. At the very least, it should be merchandised. I'd collect little figures of all of the cousins, with a giant sized King to go with them. They could fill one of those bouncy ball machines with a bunch of balls painted up like katamaris. They could make dioramas. And I for one would not mind seeing a new Katamari every year, with new missions and new music, even if it kept the exact same engine and storyline.
I heart Katamari.
Read or something.Quote:

Today is the tenth anniversary of the Japanese release of Katamari.
GO LISTEN TO THE STAGE 10 CUTSCENE MUSIC IN WE LOVE KATAMARI AND FEEL MY PAIN
Katamari has seriously never been the same to me after that bullshit. It really pisses me off.
It is an incredibly flattering punch in the dick.
Hey, they liked what we did with the guitar licks.
IMPOSSIBLE to believe that it's been ten years. Sure, it's a bit less than that for the U.S. release, but I still remember rushing to Best Buy to get the game on launch day because I figured it would be in short supply.
Troll Diff is best Diff
Totes!
I could use another really good Katamari game in my life. The last few have been terrible let-downs. Shame, since the first two were such a joy.
