Rented the N64 version awhile back and thought it was a pretty fun Arcade boxing game, with some cool upgrading and stats. I also recall some extremely cheap knockouts too. Picked up Ready to Rumble Boxing Sat for the DC and hope it improves on the N64 cart, at least soundwise.

I'm a closet fan of Ready 2 Rumble. Part 2, mostly.
I never spent alot of time with it, but when I played it, I remembered thinking, "This isn't half bad. I sorta like it. What's all the beefing about?".

Meh. Its strictly a mediocre game by my standards. I'd still rather play Punch Out! on NES...
Punchout!!!! is one of the greatest, but there's nothing wrong with a different aspect of over the top boxing. Ready to Rumble, was one of the first games I bought for my Dreamcast and it's still a personnal favorite of mine. You can see RTR's influence to other 3-D boxers, when you play Knockout Kings 2003.
this was a lot of fun the first time i played it for 5 minutes at EB when they first got their Dreamcast kiosk. after single last time i played it after that though i didn't fun with it.

Yeah, it's a pretty mediocre game. Not even a good facial can save it.
I fell in love with the game when I first played tghe demo, but I was really disappointed with the final product and it's pathetic AI (the demo was harder than the hardest matches in the real game).

I guess my standards aren't as l337 as some, I liked the game a lot for DC. I still haven't picked up the sequel, but I probably will if I see it for $15 or so.
