I didn't see the game or highlights yet... but I don't see anything wrong with kicking Van Nistelrooy.
It should be both allowed and encouraged. :)

Hey that's not nice. ;) But then again I guess this is what happens when you score 44 goals. Everybody wants a piece of you knowing how inferior they really are. :pQuote:

that was one of the worst matches i ever saw in my life , when Ruud went for the pk i was sure deep down in my heart that he will miss and he did as for viera getting sent off i thought that the ref sent Laahman off , but since viera already had the yellow the ref had to send him off even though Ruud was a bit far from him, overall the match didnt live up to expectations :\
Respect for Keown -10,000 points

Keowned in some bizzaro world, I guess.
On second thought, I realized that this wasn't a mean thing, instead it was an homage to the greatest man in the history of all of historical history.
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the new Martin Keown:

Even Ruud is in on it. Rawr!

And yes, Superman got fat and flabby. He knows this. Deal with it.
The penalty was a gift, simple as that. It should surprise noone what happened after that, that's football. The passion and the rivalry between Arsenal and Manu is fascinating. You take the rough with the smooth. Either way the repurcussions will make the run up to christmas even more exciting.
Anyway, went to Ninian Park for the Cardiff vs West Ham game. We were SO robbed. Gutted. Shouting taunts at David James is fun!XD Earny was amazing but our midfield was nowhere in the second half. Going to go to the Wigan match also probably. Hopefully we can stop the slump, can't finish matches for toffee. I think we've scored like 8 goals in the last 4 matches yet we've lost all 4. Daft.
That penalty in 1999 was clear as daylight btw, uncontestable. I don't see how you could make that parallel. But fuck me was Giggs' goal excellent. Fucking hell, could hardly believe it. Amazing, best cup goal I can remember in the last 5 years anyway especially given the occaision.
As a Liverpool supporter, I must agree. He was pretty dodgy for us. ;)Quote:

I actually saw him place once, for Villa in New Jersey a few years ago. :)
The best taunts were "dodgy keeper, dodgy keeper, dodgy keeper" and my favourite... "England, England-England's number one!". Christ, imagine having thousands of people shouting that at you. I feel so Welsh whenever i'm at uni :p
The look on my friend's face (one of my French housemates) when I told him during the match that in front of him was David James, the England #1 was priceless.
"Serieux? Non mais tu rigoles?! Il est vraiment nul, oula. J'ai pitie pour les Anglais"
Arsenal-Newcastle tommorow, no idea how that will go. Given recent form we should be able to stuff them but events lately haven't gone in our favour not least Newcastle's 5-0 win in Europe.
