*note to self: Wear Stuttgart kit on Wednesday*
Thanks for the reminder! ;)
Disappointing the way this topic keeps slipping to page 2. Anyway, Arsenal-Lokomotiv Moscow tonight, anything less than a draw is acceptable. We'll be without Vieira though :/
Apparently they are showing Inter Milan v- Dynamo Kyiv here instead of Arse v- Lokomotiv. I'd rather watch the latter. Tomorrow is even worse, they are showing Porto v- Real. :yuck:
Not only that but it's TSN picking up ESPN's feed, instead of Euro feeds.
Oh well, at least I can hopefully watch Arsenal lose on the weekend to Liverpool.
Well, Arsenal drew Lokomotiv. Would've rather they lost, but at least they didn't win. ;)
I too hope Liverpool beats Arsenal and beats them soundly. The Charlton match was disappointing for them and I'm sure they'll be back for ARSEnal.

Stuttgart!! :):)
Good game by Stuttgart. I coudn't watch it, but I heard they outplayed United the whole way through. I knew this would be a toughie. Some bright spots though: Van Nistelrooy finally scored and from a penalty no less. :D Plus Tim Howard made an incredible save on a penalty for Stuttgart. Anyways, good match.Quote:

Wiltord for failing to score (he may as well have been absent the whole match, he made zero impression), likewise for Pires, Edu for taking gash free kicks and Gilberto for being nothing special. Our defence however was pretty damn good, Toure may well be the real deal. If him and Lehman can continue to perform like that then our defence seems set for the season. The problem is that all the players look to Henry to come up with something exceptional out of nowhere which just isn't happening. We need a creative midfielder or someone who can play just behind the back two and someone to partner Henry as Wiltord is good in the premiership but against top tier teams he doesn't cut it.
The main problem however is something that doesn't need any additional players and that's stopping this bullshit tendancy of only taking a shot when within 3 metres of the goal mouth or with only the keeper to beat. If there are opposition players in the box, what's the fucking point in running at them every bloody time then giving the ball away. Just fucking have a crack, test the keeper. Eventually he will make an error and if it's on target 9 times out of 10 the keeper will tip it past the posts for a corner. Keep the goalie on his toes, make him nervous, force errors instead of pissing away possession and getting caught on the break.
Sure it didn't help that we were without Vieira and Ljungberg but it should have been a comfortable 3 points. Wenger needs to weigh up his options and find a player who can feed Henry some good balls as the poor sod can't keep conjuring up fabulous goals if the service isn't there. Anyway nice one Wenger, maybe Toure will turn out to be another ok player that can be developed into a world class one.
I'd like to end this analysis by saying that Van Nistelrooy is a twat (just read in the paper that he's been dropped from the Dutch squad for being a moody cunt).
 Ahhh shadddup. I've seen people punch coaches in the face for being subbed out.Quote:
