It's the same with MLS. I just can't watch it.
Everytime I do, and I see no more than 3 passes strung together, it just annoys me.

Like I said above, I could never get into MLS either - no matter how hard I tried (and I did try). The quality of play was awful and I hated the gimmicks they used to have like the backwards clock and the shootout, which they thankfully dumped. So, yeh, pretty unwatchable. The A-League games are pretty hard to watch as well... it's about the same quality.
Lower level competition can be entertaining though. Lower divisions in England can be pretty good. I have seen some great playoff games and cup ties over the years. I have seen the Czech league in person and it was fun. Like I keep saying, it just depends sometimes. Last night's game was entertaining because there was real flow to the game. The Swedes were a technical and skilled side and there was a lot of action. Canada's other games were quite boring as they pretty much hoof it up the pitch with long ball tactics.
But then again, whatever tactics work is what you need to do. I was thrilled watching Norway play long ball. They beat "beautiful" Brazil twice with their boring tactics and I loved it, especially the World Cup match in 98....
I think a lot of it comes down to a rooting interest. My sister is an elite player at the high school age. Over the years I have gone to a lot of her games. When they take her out of the game it's comletely boring, but when she is in there I love to watch..
She's cute. I think Sjöström is more attractive. Marklund too maybe. It's funny.. a few of them look really nice on television but their profile pics at the WWC site are not so flattering. :pQuote:

ENGLAND?S players last night held a dramatic strike ballot in support of Rio Ferdinand.
And all 24 of the squad gave their backing to a boycott of Saturday?s clash with Turkey unless the Manchester United defender is reinstated.
FA chiefs have refused to back down in the storm following Ferdinand?s axe after failing to show for a dope test.
And with the decisive qualifier in Istanbul just three days away England boss Sven Goran Eriksson is caught in the middle of an amazing stand-off.
The full squad were issued with ballot papers as the row escalated to an alarming level.
Each player was asked if he was prepared to withdraw his services unless Ferdinand was allowed to join his team-mates.
Tuesday September 23: UK Sport officials ask Rio Ferdinand to take drug test but he leaves training ground without providing a sample.
Wednesday 24: The test is re-arranged.
Thursday 25: Ferdinand provides sample.
Saturday 27: Result is negative but as Ferdinand did not take the test on the correct day it is classed as failed.
Friday October 3: FA write to Ferdinand.
Saturday 4: United are informed Ferdinand will not be picked by England. United begin efforts to overturn the decision.
Sunday 5: United block FA request to see Ferdinand. Naming of squad is delayed.
Monday 6: United receive official documentation that Ferdinand must explain himself on October 13.
Tuesday 7: Ferdinand axed by England.
This can't be good.
He's overrated, his champions league performances don't reflect the money manu payed for him. Owen is a far bigger loss.
