Which Parasite Eve do you like more?

And what do you want part 3 to be like?

Id like to see it closer to the style of 1 i really really enjoyed the first one

i remember there were rumors of a remake of the first one coming to the GC now that remake id be all over like white on rice!

I played through a lot of the first one, and honestly didn't like it all that much. That being, I've never played the second. So, I'm not gonna touch the poll. Ha on you all.

The first one was amazing. One of my favorite PSOne games of all time. The second sucked hairy moose cock.

The third, I hope, will play much more like, and be written much more like the first game.

Chao, the third game was announced a while back but there hasn't been any info on it.

I like Eve 2 quite a bit but they definitely Resident Evil-ized it compared to the first game which made it feel less original.

I wouldn't mind the batle system of the second one mixed with the overall game style of the first. Get rid of that damn RE style control! I'd probably like the 2nd one more if I didn't have a copy that freezes before the final boss fight.

Well, I liked both PE games. First one was better though.

I really liked Parasite Eve alot. I liked Parasite Eve 2 as well, but it was kind of hard. I thought about playing Parasite Eve again a little while back, but the graphics made me cringe. I remember that game looking so awesome, but compared to day it looks horrible. I'd like #3 to be like #1 with better graphics of course and a deeper weapon customization system.

Parasite Eve was one of the better PSX RPGs, had a great story and atmosphere, and I loved the real-time/turn-based hybrid battle system. To me the KotOR battle-system is an evolution of sorts of it, and part of the reason I'm having such a blast with that too. Only prob with PE was it was ridiculously short, I think it only took around 9 or 10 hours to complete, and that was with all the subquests completed too. But all 10 of those hours were gold. :nod:

PE2 was an above-average RE clone, but really didn't bring anything new to the table like the first did. It was nice that it was longer and a bit more open-ended with multiple endings and outcomes, but it just lacked the fun and originality the first brought to the table.

I really hope they go back to the original's gameplay with the 3rd one instead of continuing down the path of RE-inspired *cough*rippedoff*cough* gameplay. :yuck:

I only ever played PE1, the second one always eluded me for some reason.

Even so, I never understood why Square would want to make PE more like RE, I thought PE's battles were really cool and fun. So I guess I hope 3 is more like 1.
