Has anyone had a chance to pick-up this game yet? I enjoyed ROTK VII, and just wanted to hear some feedback on this one.

Is this the most recent title to hit US PS2? If so, I REALLY want it.Quote:

So, I still really want it, because to this day I still love Rot3K3 to death.
It's out? No, I haven't played it, but I heard they royally screwed up the battles - you have little control. Well, it's either this one or the asian PC release of IX. I'm a fan, and even I honestly can't keep them straight.
And 'Doshi, it's funny you say they're too overloaded - I've always wished they'd add more detail. Rather than just clicking "improve economy", I wish you had to come up with creative or specific ways to do so.
Or ways to actually set up your cities - all this stuff they could just let you delegate if you're not really interested, but make available to the more serious fan.
And how insane is it that they don't release the Xbox versions here? How could they possibly have made any money from just releasing them for that system in Japan? I'd kill for a North American release of a harddrive-compatible Nobunaga Chronicles.
I just wish this series would go PC-exclusive. Consoles aren't the place for games of this ilk...
The game should be in stores today. I would prefer this on PC as well, but having a chance to play it at all is good enough for me.
They are PC games. The console versions are just ports.Quote:
