Dood! Yeh, I have the same impression. I feel that this game has outclassed the entire strategy RPG genre. It has brought so much to the table. I was expecting it to be at least good, thanks to the extraordinary character designs... but the gameplay has truly blown me away. I love how fast, flexible yet deep, and open ended the gameplay is. I really love everything about it. You're just scratching the surface so far too. ;)

I agree with sggg here.

I finally got my Ninja, and promptly leveled him up from 1 to 18 in a single kill by using that trick I shared with all of you. :D

Anyone else using Maderas? I love him.

How many classes you got? And what's your major?

12 units, 4 classes, Illustration major that's not taking art classes this year, just so I can work 20 - 30 hours a week at my job. I'm up at 7am, and get home at 9pm every night (except weekends).

I have been too busy as well. I have not made nearly the progress some others have made, which is why I am not replying much to specifics. I am only skimming til I catch up. I am enjoying every minute I can get tho'. :)

I'm in the same boat as you guys. I hope to gain some ground with a marathon gaming session this weekend :D

I haven't been able to play Disgaea in a week. :\ That's ok though. I was getting a bit bored with it.

Exactly! sggg, my friend, you took the words right out of my mouth.

I expected another strat/RPG. What I got was the evolution of the strat/RPG. I hope other developers take a look at this title, because there is no going back. I also picked up FFTA, and having tried Disgaea first, (bad move I know), I find it so slow. I understand that it was in development for a while and it is a good game, but Disgaea has set the standard to which other strat/RPG's must now compare themselves to. We will not accept anything less.

I love the traditional RPG elements in the game as well, like being able to explore the castle. It's a simple thing, but it adds a lot of ambience to the game.
