For those curious Dave reviewed all of our TV to videogame adaptions. He can’t get enough of them.

Lookin good. I have to knock off a couple points because Play are overraters, but good score for Billy Hatcher. And good to see they gave Shining Soul a deservedly low score.

I like the Billy Hatcher score but given Halvy's platformer bias, I'm cautious of it. What did he give Mario Sunshine anyway?

i dont think he reviewed sunshine. i think fletcher or hobbs did. whoever did loved it tho.

Chris Hoffman wrote the Hatcher review. He's cool people.

No question there. The nice thing about this issue was that Dave didn't write many of the reviews.

Also, I must be slacking with my web surfing--I had no idea Shinji Mikami left Capcom. Interesting...

Oops. I read the first post wrong. I thought you said Dave reviewed all the games. I shouldn't go on TNL before having my coffee. ;)

I'm quite excited about Billy Hatcher now.

Is it possible to take the Mario Sunshine engine and creat a new platform game around it? I ask because Hatcher has a simialr look. The levels are vast, seeming to go up and out as far as the eye can see.

He did? Hmm, is he doing his own thing with a new studio then?

Not sure, Will. Apparently he had a fallout with Capcom. They were none to pleased with the sales of P.N.03.

Isn't this the second casualty at Capcom in as many months. Someone else left Capcom to form there own studio.

That one I sort of know of since its in this month's GameNOW news section. It was chief operating officer Yoshiki Okamoto who left the company June 20. It also says he wants to provide design and technical assistance to other creators while also producing his own games.

Doesn't really say why he left exactly other than that. Anyway so how is P.N. 03? Johnpv says its almost like Gungrave or so in shooting/linking combos, if so I'll cop that shit.
