From the demo, those particular controls lend themselves well to the game, and come off as a rather enjoyable little game(albeit not worth full price).Quote:

It is buggier than the overwhelming majority of console games. It has a good amount of slowdown. These are facts. If that is bad-mouthing, then me calling you a ignoramus with the reading comprehension of a rotten turnip is worthy of captial punishment.
"You're not doing to well here, Bob"
Because you can't read? Point to where I bad-mouhted the game. Point to where I said the game got a B because of the bugs. If you can't do either of these, then step off, because so far you've proven yourself to like to throw insults around with no basis. Twerp.
That's nice.
Yes, and neither do you. At least we can agree on that. :)Quote:

I think this could be the begining of a beautiful friendship. ;)Quote:

If Madden 2004 received an A+, how did F-Zero GX receive GOTM? Do sports games not count?
GunGrave was awesome... sure, it was a bit simple, but it was hella fun, and just plain ol' cool.
It wasn't $50.00 awesome, but it was definitely $20.00 awesome. No regrets, looking forward to the sequel.
edit: Also, I think Bob has made plenty of good points here, and, no matter what some might say, technical stuff SHOULD factor into the score. Releasing something at 90% or even at 95% when it could have been at 100% is bullshit. If I were reading a (graphic novel, manga, comic strip, etc.) that had an INCREDIBLE story that had me jizzing on the roof, but was drawn by, say, Jim Aparo, that would bring it down a few notches. Nothing against the story, mind you, but the art's as much a part of the medium as the writing is. The coding is as much a part of a videogame as its writing and its art.
Were it any other magazine I'd acquiesce. (In fact the argument does have merit.) But Play's review system is much too whacked out for them to rely on coding/glitches that don't effect everyone the same way, to knock down the score on an otherwise great game.
Besides, if this got a B according to Play, that means that on the scale it's equal to the Matrix (and a whole lot of other shitty games Play graced with a decent grade) which was reviewed last month. That ain't right. Esp. considering the Matrix was far buggier, and a mediocre game. That's my beef.
Furthermore, when Bob comes in talking about the KOTOR deserving the mark for being buggier and such, it sounded just like his other holier-than-thou-asinine-everything-except-what-I-like-sucks- trying-to-get-a-rise-out-of-you-OMFG-here-comes-another-post rambling in other threads about games "he's seen" but never played.
You got all of "holier-than-thou-asinine-everything-except-what-I-like-sucks- trying-to-get-a-rise-out-of-you-OMFG-here-comes-another-post rambling "
from "A B for a game with tons of bugs and slowdown? Who would have thunk it?" ??
Wow, pass me that crystal ball. And some of those narcotics, too, so I can sell them for more games to see but never play.
