VIRUS: Trojan horse music search

I just just running my anti-virus, and it came up with "trojan horse music search" as a virus found. I have tried looking up ways of getting it off my damn computer, but I can't read directly into it. It may be lack of sleep, but if you guys could please help me out on how to get this thing off of my machine (xp), I would be extremely grateful :D

What is weird is that I don't use anything to download any music files, it may have just been from someone else using my pc... has anyone else heard of this virus?

The RIAA is going to kill you. And steal your music.

What virus program are you using? Some may try to "quarantine" it instead of removal.

AVG, long story as to why we don't have Norton anymore... I didn't see an option for quarantine under the AVG system. I may not be looking hard enough?

Try SpyBot Search & Destroy, I had a problem similar to this that it fixed right up.

You should be using Spybot and Adaware regularly.

I run ad-aware every day, but I didn't think of using spybot :)

Music search? Sounds like that damn C2.LOP thingamajig.

There's an account of someone's browser hijack problem which has definitely been caused by LOP.
