Yoshi, I've heard your stance on extended warranties before, and I still stand by them due to them saving me a ton of money should anything go wrong with a console. I'd rather pay $20 for a two year warranty than $200 for a new system.

Jeremy is right, and this is the one time those warranties are actually useful.
I used to work at Best Buy, and the warranty covers the ENTIRE system, even the controller. So if your controller stops rumbling one day, return it, get a new system. Got DREs? Get a new system.
One of the buttons isn't responding as good as it should? New system!
I've got both my GC and Xbox covered, but to get my ps2 covered, I'd actually have to bring it in so they can make sure it works first, and I'm not sure if I want to.
I didn't get any coupons :(
Roufoss, precisely man. They cover so much for so little a price. The EB ones were my preferred warranty plan before they decided to swap the systems out for refurbs instead of new ones. Best Buy gives you a new unit for your defective one. It might not be as speedy a process as EB's, since they don't just swap the consoles out, but I'd rather wait to get a new one than get stuck with a refurb.
They don't swap em out? I remember our store used to, about 1-2 years ago, cause we'd get the money back anyways from the defect.
Might have changed since then.
Well, I was told by the clerk at BB that they wouldn't be swapped out right away, but that I'd have to wait a day for a replacement system. Since I haven't had to use the BB warranty yet, I'm just going by what he said.
Jeremy, I LOVE you :)
Alex, we all wuv you here.
Get a room.
I think the sarcasm detector's busted...
