Someone asked my friend who worked in EB, "Do you have Comcast vs. SINK?"
Comcast is our local cable provider, and he pronounced SINK literally like the "kitchen sink".

I hear this once a day..
"DO YOU GUYS HAVE HALO 2?"
Followed by
"MY FRIEND HAS IT!"
"MY friend said he has a magazine that has a chip you can buy that turns your PS2 into that new PSX thing, do you guys have that chip?"
Since I play Ikaruga so much, and love other shmups, this was the best comment I've read in awhile.
*found on the GameFAQs Viewtifull Joe board under the thread Is this as hard as Ikaruga?
stupid AIR GAMES! :curse:Quote:
well considering there are parts in Ikaruga that there is nowhere to go on the screen I wouldnt say its as cheap. I think a lot of stuff is going on in V.Joe, but definately not as much as those cheap air games.
Someone I know commented on Nintendo's target audience. He started with "Nintendo is too kiddy", which is already stupid and cliched by itself, but then he went on with "Take GTA! You'll never see Mario beating down hookers and stealing cars". Now that's just plain asinine.
since i don't work at a game store anymore, i don't get to hear too many great comments...i really miss all those "but i read on the internet..." lines
FROTHING DEMAND
now that thats been said, i remember reading something on the blinx forum within the xbox.com forums. some guys mini review of blinx:
"BEING A CAT: 5.5 OUT OF 5"
i dont remember if it was originally in caps or if the rating was "5.5/5" but whatever. its funnier this way.
Paying insane prices for an AES cart instead of getting the much cheaper MVS version is better because it makes you l33t!!!!!one
Here are some lines from IGN's Giga Wing review.

GW is a long enough game as it is- the moderate length does leave it open to replay. When a game is too long, you can be tempted to say "I beat it, I'm through with it". There's actually 7 levels, but this reviewer apparently couldn't get to #7.Quote:
