I agree. I like The Rocks action movies because they don't try to be anything their not and they always write them to be light hearted and fun. Plus The fight scenes don't seem to be directed like they're done by John Woo.
I don't like John Woo. I think he's fake. Actually, he's good at what he does, but there are just too many people trying to do what he does. The movie industry is saturated too much with this style. (in my opinion, of course)
i've said it once, and i'll say it again. the rock is THE next big action star. think stallone or swarzenegger of the new millenium!!
Man, Sorry but why are you blaming Woo for making slo-mo, dual gunplay and theme of royalty between two men popular??? Its rather stupid statement, since its not his fault that its what he does best, and that every other "filmaker" in Hollywood and everywhere else decided to copy it cause it cool. Same goes for Matrix and now overused Bullet Time and Slo-mo fxs, lets all hate that.Quote:

You even contradict yourself, first saying that Woo is fake, but then giving him credit for being good at what he does. Man, Blame the industry, dont blame the man.
As for Rundown, I will be definately seeing it. I like The Rock, and so does my wife, Cristopher Walken is always fun to see on screen, and even Stiffler guy is ok, when playing more comedic character. Trailer showed plenty of cool action scenes, lots of humor and return of Enrie Reys Jr :) Plus Arnold himself has a secret cameo in the film, or so was rumored.
It looks like a fun action flick, which makes for a must-see when it comes out on DVD.
I'm looking forward to the movie too. Did anyone see in one of the trailers what looked to be Rock giving someon a Rock Bottom? Thought I saw that.
Do you mean Rocks action movie or are you trying to count Mummy Returns also. 'Cause I thought he only had one movie so far, and it was Scorpion King.Quote:

The trailer for this movie looked really cool, I'm definitely going to try to catch it when its out. And yeah I think everyone in my theater when we saw the trailers noticed the rock bottom, a good knod to his wrestling stuff.
