The fact that I could play the original PSO, 6 months ago when I had dial up, was amazing in itself. Sega was'nt making any money off of it and still they gave their fans the service for free, long after Ver.2 came out.

Well lets see, they had sega channel, xbrand, some modem plugin for genesis (that never got any real support) and just lately they cut off their own seganet which can only be looked at as a failure (by the general public of course).Quote:

Um, Sega didn't run the X-Band add-on, or own the technology. Sega has nothing to do with it barring one of their systems being used for the service.

I can't say that I know what's going on with it. Might be in permanent hiatus, though there's always a chance that he'll resume work on it.
If I had a BBA, I'd check out the test drivers.
