Microsoft offers two-month memberships for Xbox Live

With more than 50 Xbox Live games on shelves this holiday, Microsoft today announced the start of a free two-month Xbox Live trial with purchase of select Live-enabled games. The program kicks off with the newly released NFL Fever 2004.

In the coming months gamers can take advantage of the free trial by purchasing any of the following titles:<ul type="square"><li>Acclaim: NBA Jam, Burnout 2: Point of Impact (Developer's Cut), All-Star Baseball 2005 featuring Derek Jeter

Nice move. I saw this when I got my copy of NFL Fever 2004. I am sure this will catch on just like AOL's trial memberships ;)

nice to see they're finally offering a good deal.

Personally, I'd rather keep the servers free because alot of those games don't offer all that much more then what we see on the PC selection, like the endless diablo and quake sessions. Also this won't look too tempting when sony finally gets more titles to play online, you won't see them changing for resident evil! ;)

There may be a few I'll be looking foward to (NBA Jam, Ninja Gaiden), only problem I'm having is most of those share their platform with the PC and there's no way I'll be paying extra just for their content. Yeah I know it's just a personal gripe, but I'm better off paying for MMORPGs instead.
