Sweet Benz on eBay motors

Man this is one of the nicest Mercedes Benz I ever seen... and only for around $700,000 :sweat: ... it is a McLaren though so I'm sure they are very limited production vehicle.

but I dont get the whole gear shifting thing. Why have a feature like this for manual?:
When "Manual" is selected, he or she also has the option of choosing between three shift stages for a sportier driving style:

" Stage I = "Sport" " Stage II = "Super Sport" " Stage III = "Race"

Hehe. I love idiots who do stuff like that to my car (94 Honda Civic DX hatchback) and they're all excited because they supercharged the little fucker from 108HP to 158HP. Morons.

Because it states..

"In manual mode the driver can select between three shift stages - "Sport", "Super Sport" and "Race" - significantly shortening the shift times still further for an even sportier drive."

Meaning if its on 'Race', you can shift the gears quicker as opposed to it being on 'Sport'.

Bandit: Thanks for the info. I just kind of wonder why some cars nowadays have diffrent options in shifting. Its a little like spoiling the driver if you ask me. Like air bags :p
