This, like all of From's other non-mech games, should suck a cheetah's dick.
And yes, I have played Otogi.

Hopefully, we will see some screenshots soon.
This kind of thing is exactly why I love you, man. I'm being dead serious. :DQuote:

You got it backwards. The mech ones were the bad ones. Armored Core hasn't been good for a very long time, possibly ever. I had some fun with the first, but I expected the gameplay to improve, and... well, it never did.Quote:

Umm. Diff's post is from 2 years ago and I'm pretty sure he isn't going to respond to it : )
Hah, wow, didn't even notice.Quote:

Funny story:
I saw this at Fry's on a Saturday a couple months ago. The last one and it was $24.99. I said, nah, c'mon Compy, you don't need that, put it down. And I did. But then I got home and couldn't stop thinking about it. I've been a fairly loyal fan of FROM Software's more plodding work (King's Fields, Shadow Towers, Echo Nights [though I've yet to open the first one, I know I'll like it]) and Otogi. I re-read a few reviews and soon realized I wanted this game... nay, needed it. I'd go back to Fry's the next day (Sunday) and be playing it by Sunday night, yes it was gonna rule.
Well, of course you can guess what happened. Somebody bought it between the time I looked at it on Saturday afternoon and the time I realized I couldn't live without it and drove back to get it Sunday afternoon. Now, I had to have it. It was life and death. The fear that it would become rare and I'd be paying $80 in a few months if I didn't get it RIGHT NOW set in.
So I bought it online that night for $36. It came a week later and there it sits on my shelf today... unopened.
I need to play the PS2 King's Field. Did you play Eternal Ring? If you like KF you'd probably dig it. I rented it a long time ago, I could use to pick up a cheap copy, assuming I can even find one anymore.Quote:
