I have been thinking of getting a tattoo as of late. Something that can be hidden if need be and nothing to large. I saw one when I was in Orlando that was really cool, it was my Chinese Zodiac sign written out but I don't want a tattoo that means "rat".
So I think I want to get a tattoo that deals with aquarius. I'm currently trying to find a picture of aquarius spelled out in Chinese just to see what it looks like.
So who has one? Any stories? Etc.

When well-to-do suburban teenagers start doing things, its not cool anymore. I don't care what it is.
Tattoos were polynesian bad ass looking war designs, then they were for sailors, other military people and bikers. Then suburban kids and Blink 182 and basketball players and parents and aunts and uncles and 98 degrees and everybody else who is lame got tattoos too.
They aren't cool any more, so if you get one, get something original for the right reasons and make sure its something you will be happy with as an old man/lady.
If you like the tattoo and believe it's right for you, by all means do it. It's for you and no one else.
With that, tribal and kanji tattoos are incredibly stupid, seriously. They're what drunk kids at spring break get when they want a tattoo but haven't given enough thought to something meaningful to get.
I got anime and tribal art from Red XIII off FF7 on me.
Heres the anime one I have. I've had this one for around 7 years I guess, kinda lost count after awhile.
Tattoos are an odd thing... I know I'd never get one myself, but I find girls with tattoos to be more attractive than without.
...and what Master says is true of everything. That's why I don't think Hot Topic is as nifty as it used to be.

The next one is probably three or four of the little pink octopi on my arm from the 'ole comet 7.
I have two. The chinese symbol for "dragon" (I was born in '76, the year of the dragon) on my right shoulder blade and the infinity symbol (I realize there is probably a word for this but I can't remember it) w/my wife and daughters first initial in it on my left bicep. I planning on getting more once I get more money. :)
