hmm, last time I checked this was against some law, be it a treaty the U.S. signed or UN law.
Regardless this is a bad idea, wars that do not put peoples lives in danger are even more meaningless and horriffic than ones that do. The US along with other huge nations could just send in robots to slaughter smaller nations that are annoying, and the puplic won't care because it is not their ass on the line.
Funny, my pointless "stop reading, start replying" thread got shit for being pointless, and yet it got two pages of replies. This serious thread only got 1 reply.
I'll mess with the title.
Interesting, but then it makes you ask... if there was a war fought between one nations robots and anothers, why would they even fight? Which them makes you realise how fucking retarded war is. Seriously.
If it got serious, it would be a battle of econimes. To see who could produce the most and best robots of death. Either one econ would be exosted and give up, or they would keap going untill one is entirely drained and they have to send in real human troops.
Also I'd have to bet the nation that all this carnage is taking place in would factor in.
I think that in the end no nation with this sort of technology will ever be dumb enough to fight another nation with the same resorces. This is going to be a easy way to slaughter the weak. Probably in the name of fighting terrorism.
If the future of military dominence is robotics, then say hello to our future rulers, the Japanese. Our military is no match for Super Hero XL Gundam!
If that ever happens, I wouldn't be suprised if Japan magically becomes a state of the US.
That sounds familiar...what's that a reference to?Quote:
