Hmm...it could be VERY cool, or it could suck completely like the Sci-Fi channel does. Don't get me wrong, I love science fiction, but the shit they show on the sci-fi channel, especially their crap original movies and series, is consistantly beyond bad and almost makes the channel completely worthless. Time will tell if the Horror channel is destined for the same fate...
If the new channel shows a lot of the b&w classics as well as modern stuff, it'll be awesome.
Well, They have to show movies uncensored, which probably wont happen :(
But if they going to show tv series like Millenium, Brimstone and others I will be very happy.
Early Sci-fi channel was the greatest. Now I'm afraid it's done a little more than slip up in the quality department.
Note to the sci-fi channel: If you only have what appears to be a $100 budget to make your original movies, and that's including effects, script, actors, everything, don't make them.

Could be cool, but I have my doubts. Many horror movies rely on gore and such and if this is going to be a basic cable channel ala the Sci Fi channel than all the gore will be edited out. Not to mention there will be hundreds of commercials. The only way I could see this working is if it were a pay channel like the "Starz Super Pak" channels. Hopefully, they will show Monsters, Tales from the Darkside and all the other obscure Horror shows that Sci Fi used to show.
Sci-fi channel use to kick ass when they did those annual anime festival weeks and showed anime ever saturday mornings.
I remember that. Now all the anime's on Adult Swim. Though my girlfriend just got Anime on Demand on her new cable service...I gotta check that out.
