I believe the videogame industry took in a lot more money then movies did last year, at least in America. I can't remember the figures nor where I got them from (somewhere on this board from a long time ago) so I could be off, but I'm pretty sure on that.

I hope the game has 4 hours of cutscenes after seeing that:lol:

But that still looks awesome despite it's over the topness.

Anybody else impressed by how they rendered Snake's teeth? Him gritting them during that cutscene was pretty awesome.

God this is gonna be sweet. Its been years since Ive played the original. I had some really good times with this game and cant wait to re-live them and some new ones.

ARGH! I've had enough of Matrix-inspired... bleh. Nobody cares. That scene kind of annoyed me, but once I got done bitching about it, and came down from my soapbox...

er... yeah, it's pretty cool.

MGS is one of my absolute favorite games ever, and I'm really excited about TTS. Moreso because I want to find my own dogtag, but when MGS2 came out, I couldn't stop imagining MGS1 with MGS2's superior graphics/gameplay.

Please tell us how you'd prefer cutscenes to be, Grave.

It's not so much that I want changes, as much as that I'm tired of absolutely everything overusing slow motion and crazy acrobatic moves. Yes, it looks as cool as hell in this cutscene, but it's not necessary in everything. And there were a few times during it in which I wish they'd cut down on the slow motion.

It's not that huge of a problem, but it irritates me a little bit.

I can understand where Grave is coming from. Snake jumping onto the missile shot from the hind in the E3 trailer is pretty ridiculous when looked at in the context of the original MGS and MGS2... it's pretty un-Snake.

However, I accept that this is a remake, somewhat of a re-imagining of things... and I love it :)

But yea, I can relate to what Grave is saying.

Yeah, this is going to be great. I like the original so much I sometimes forget how ugly it looks nowadays.

Those field mice and their little !'s better still be in there, or I'll be pissed.
