I don't understand all the GameCube hate from this forum. Sure, Nintendo might make some of the most questionable business decisions (like the whole GBA connectivity deal), but it's not as bad as many make it out to be. It's still a nice little console.

And just for the record, Link was a much cooler hidden character than Heihachi and Spawn, but you don't need my word for it.

With that said, Twin Snakes was obviously never meant to be a straight scene-to-scene remake of the original game and to be honest, I don't mind the John Woo-ism at all. It isn't trying to replace the original MGS (it never did), it simply serves to compliment it by telling the story with a different spin. If you want the original MGS to remain the way it is, there's always the PS version.

Yeah, its gonna fucking rock.

I didn't watch the trailer, but I do hope Sl1p is exagerating about how lifeless the dialogue is.

As a huge MGS junky, I found it just as good if not better than the original dialogue. Take my word for it, you won't be disappointed.
