no one knows really. my guess is survivor/horror. if you watch the trailers though, you can tell what's a cut scene, and what's actually being played.
if it is survivor/horror though, i'll continue to try to get myself to like the genre by continuing to tell myself that the genres game design is a lot like Metroid...yes im in denial.
here's hoping that they atleat give you 3D controls if they go with the survivor/horror route.
It looks very unique and I like it. I think it will be more of an adventure game, than survivor horror though. I wanna know how do those multiple personalities work and affect gameplay.

well, first picture of actual gameplay. seems like a light gun game. if that's the case, i really hope Namco releases the GunCon for GameCube.
who knows though, it could very well just be some random part of the game.
Wow, I really hope this isn't just a light gun game...but how could it be with the descriptions of all the character styles? Light gun elements are A-OK though.
some people are speculating that each of the 7 personalities plays differently. i haven't read enough about the game to comment.. i prefer to look at the pretty screenshots.

I really like those new screenshots but those breif character sketches don't give me any assurance of quality. They look like they were thought up by an average joe.
The style, however, doesn't. Some of the models do look blocky though, so I'll have to wait and see it in motion.

Hmm, I am not sold on the idea of it being a just a lightgun game either. It would be better if it had mix of various gameplay styles in one tight package.
