The Gamespy preview was impressive. Taking on two guys at once with just your fists was akward, but you learn new moves and techniques as you go. The game seems to be very story driven, with fluid animation for in-game stuff. The coolest thing mentioned was the hallucinations your character goes through, like once instance you're walking down a hallway and turn a corner, when all of a sudden you're in this vast desert.
On the disc, or the Gamespy preview? I thought the disc looked pretty interesting.Quote:

It's out (shipping) today. I always thought it looked interesting, if a little awkward. Some recent previews and reviews (in particular, XBN's 9/10) have also been surprisingly favorable, commenting on the driving story and the overall success of confining the entire game to the first person perspective. I'll probably pick it up this week, and will post some impressions by the weekend.
There's a demo in the latest OXM. 'Tis fun. It's on a timer though. I hate timer demos. I'm still trying to see myself throw up.
The good previews had me interested, but IGN's given it a 6.7 and Gamespot a 7.6.
The reviews posted on gamefaqs are also well thought out and give the game poor scores. The game sounds to me like Maken X, only not as good.Quote:
