Obviously the lack of a physical keyboard isn't a problem for you so I can't imagine why the Nexus One wouldn't be awesome. It's the fastest Android phone out there right now and you'll probably be enjoying OS updates long before other Android phone users.

If you can afford it get the Nexus One. It's what I'm using now and it's a huge improvement/upgrade from my previous phone, the G1.

I just read the limp biscuts post and thouroughly enjoyed it. Two thumbs up.

I just got a Sony Ericsson C905a, basically a simple cell phone attached to an 8.something megapixel camera. It looks a bit bulky but maybe it will be confused for my manhood.

Well, the phone came in today; for those not aware, the c905 is one of the most camera-like of camera phones:

In the age of smart phones it is pretty dumb; no touch screen, no keyboard, and a pretty clunky web interface. I am okay with that, though: With it comes a cheaper cell phone bill. There are some features that are included in the model that AT&T left out; wifi support being the most prominent. However, it can be debranded to allow access. I will do this in the next week or so.
Its primary asset is definitely the camera. It is 8.1 megapixel, has a really bright xenon flash, and possesses most of the features found on a basic point-and-shoot camera. Mine did not come with a USB cable for some reason, so I cannot see how good the pictures look until it arrives (they are automatically resized when sent in messages).
It does not have a headphone jack, and it uses M2 (Mini memory sticks) rather than the cheaper Micro SD cards. Music playback just isn't its primary objective.

I bought the Droid this week, the chick gave me a pretty sweet deal on it. so i couldn't pass it up

I recently came into a bit of spending money and am looking to upgrade my old env2. It's easily the worst phone I've ever used - and that's saying a lot, both because I've used a lot of phones and most of them were terrible. I am sick of screwing around with the cheap crap.
Is there any word on new Android and/or Palm phones coming out for Verizon in the next few months? At the moment the PPP is a bit cheaper than the Droid but both are a few months old.

Nexus One is coming out in the next couple of weeks, but personally I'd still go for the Droid.

The screen on the Nexus One may be prone to break.

I don't think I've ever owned a phone that didn't break well before my contract expired.
