I never use contacts list, just start typing the name of the person you want to call and the phone finds it for you. Opening the contact list is a waste of time. Never called anyone by accident, either, but then I don't really call many people at all in the first place.

I disagree, the gestures on the phone are great. Make it very easy to navigate one-handed.

Can choose wallpaper, custom ring tones and text/alert sounds, what more are you looking for? Have you messed with Preware?

I ended up dropping Sprint and getting Verizon Droid 2 for 1 deal. I got Droid, woman got Eris. She loves Eris, hates Eris, loves Eris, hates Eris, and this changes every week with the irritation.

Driod with PSPgo is like a paradise of unicorns and newborn puppies and smiling babies. I am in a good way.

Seems to me like the whole cell phone premise in general would be outdated by now.

I mean, when you think about it, it's really just an old technology polished up with silly little features like bluetooth and a mini web browser. Give me something revolutionary, please. It's 2010.

They're computers that you can hold in one hand, that's pretty revolutionary.

The whole computer thing's gotten a little old at this point, too.

It's true, computers suck.

Same, anyone who was holding off on picking up a Droid for the new hotness is probably gonna want to move on that one. Wildkat, how's that trackpad in practice? I despise trackballs on phones and I'm glad HTC seems to be doing away with them.

I've never had any experience with HTC phones mostly because the people I know have had bad luck with them. I'm wary about the incredible despite the specs.

I was definitely intrigued by the Eris when I tried it out before its official launch and ended up going with the Mot Droid. Love it even more since the 2.1 update. Solid phone, but iPhone/iPodTouch is definitely where its at for mobile gaming for people who may not carry a PSP/DS...


Everyone who currently owns an Eris will definitely end up wanting to get the Incredible. The Snapdragon processor and ability to manage all the screens in one window, combined with HTC Sense UI is enough of a reason to get the average consumer hyped up.

Ya. Personally I would have probably picked up an HTC if they offered a model for VZ with a physical keyboard. I am sure we have several more Droid models that will be released within the next quarter.
