SUPER PHONE ANNOUNCED. I was getting impatient and was going to get a Hero, but now I'll get a Hero and be "dissatisfied."
Also thinking about getting the Evo. I'd love to get the new iPhone, but I've come around to the idea of only using the work phone for everything, and it would save about $1k/yr. Also the Evo just looks amazing.
I just got the Hero and am going to be VERY DISSATISFIED WITH IT on June 4th. I think I'd like an Evo better on that day.
How is the phone between now and then?
Well, not sure whether work is paying for the Evo 4G or not. Even in the worst case scenario where they say no to it, I'll still be getting one to replace the iPhone. Those new AT&T data plans are just awful, and I'm not signing into a $325 ETF just to be screwed over the next time AT&T decides I'm using too much data.
Hopefully going Friday morning to get one of these. I was told I can be DISATISFIED with my phone IN a Sprint store.
Also hopefully it doesn't matter that this Sprint store will be a state away.
I'm thinking about getting an Evo 4G as well, but I'd have to come off SERO for it. Sprint started being dicks with the perks they give for leaving SERO now because they know a bunch of people are about to jump for the Evo.
Work just confirmed I can go snag one from the Sprint store tomorrow, and they're even going to cover the $10 premium. In the end, not counting accessories, the phone will cost me $171.74 after I trade in my old hunk of shit Touch Pro.
Also all the savings once I cancel my iPhone when the contract ends in a couple weeks. Hoping I'm not in for a world of disappointment with this being my first Android device.
2.2 is "coming soon". Android just gets better with each release.
