I got a droid incredible from wildkat. There are some things I like better on the blackberry (email setup was a shit ton easier, I'm used to just hitting "return" to send messages, YOU CAN CLOSE APPS AND THEY STAY CLOSED SO THAT YOUR BATTERY ISN'T GONE IN HALF A DAY!), but overall I like this a LOT more.
Jesus Christ is the internets fast on it. It's literally like going from dial up to high speed. I'm always going to ebay or gamestop to check prices and it could take three minutes to load up a page and half the time the page would hang. I can actually do TNL without using Featherweight (even though I still do because I'm so used to it.)
I haven't done much gaming on it. I still intend on getting Iphive whenever it launches so I'm not going to waste money on this. Maybe they'll have some more decent freebies.
So, can someone recommend an Android phone on Sprint that's there now or will be out by September?
My wife likes her Samsung Epic a lot other than the battery life.
Those worried about the tiered data, if you're already with Verizon and paying the $30 unlimited data, you're grandfathered in. Also, its "forever". So you can upgrade in 2 years and you're still grandfathered in.
My wife and I had Blackberry Bold 9650. We just upgraded to Android phones. Thunderbolt for me and Droid X2 for her. She loves her X2. I love my Thunderbolt but the battery is horrid (I already knew about it but able to live with it). I ended up buying a extended battery. Haven't used it yet since I'm waiting for my SEIDIO extended case to arrive before I use it. Don't like my phone to be naked.
Truly we are not the people to trust in regards to cell phone advice, so you're making the right call.
...I see what you did there.
I'm guessing you got the Incredible 1. If so, I recommend the Speck case for it. You should be able to get it from the Verizon Wireless store for $15 and free shipping. The case does get scratched up after use, but it protects the phone well and I can remove the phone easily when I need to put this on an armband for running.
Also, I recommend Tapatalk. Yeah, it costs like $3, but it makes surfing TNL (and other forums) so much easier that it's worth the price.
That's good to know.
