Phones now are more powerful than any computer I owned before my 12" PowerBook a few years ago. Might even be more powerful than that.
I use mine now for: phone, text, email, Google Talk, Twitter, Slacker Radio, Pandora, Podcasts, Google Music (all four of these over Bluetooth to car stereo), GPS Navigation, workout logging, food diary, scheduling, Google Plus, ESPN scores/news, PS3 trophy/online info, IRC, boarding passes on planes, pics, HD video, YouTube, Netflix, Kindle, Facebook, movie reviews/trailers, RSS reading, editing office documents, checking the weather, getting gas prices, avoiding speed traps, getting local/national radio, browsing websites, and probably a lot more I've forgotten. Also bluetooth headset with battery indicator on the phone and voice commands for random shit like playing a song and wireless speeds of 9mbps/1.5mbps? lol.
Being on the cutting edge of tech is fun, but it also makes me feel old when I remember how a lot of this stuff wasn't even possible on computers 10 years ago.
The streaming audio/video wirelessly are really what kill me. I remember how ultra shitty Real Networks audio was, and them saying, "and soon we'll be able to stream video!". Then when they finally released video, it was possibly the shittiest thing I've ever seen. It made Sega CD look like HD.
