I've played around with the Voyager plenty, but the average touch screen and horrible UI and browser completely turned me off. It's nice that it has a fold out keypad, but I don't mind using the touch type on the iPhone, and the keypad on the Voyager isn't nearly enough to make up for the other shortcomings that the phone has.
If I was going to get a touchscreen from Verizon I would have gotten the LG Dare (which I believe came out yesterday). But that's just me.
I think the touch screen and UI on the Voyager are both great (although nothing compares to the iPhone's touch screen, I'll admit). As for the browser, it gets the job done.
I just don't like texting on the iPhone at all. It fucking sucks.
If they just put in sideways texting there would be no issue. Well that and the tactile response from having an actual keyboard. That is one thing I really like about the Voyager (and other LG touchscreens), is the touch feedback so you know you're hitting something. That should be added to all phones. Luckily typing on one doesn't bother me at all so if they don't add that feature in with firmware I'd have no problem.Quote:
