With a contract. People who buy phones on eBay or craigslist need a replacement cuz their original died/broke, dont want to renew their contract or their contract isnt up yet. So purchasing a new phone only from Verizon or any carrier costs a lot. So this option is cheaper.Quote:

Question: I don't know much about SIM phones, haven't owned one in years. I work in a computer lab and found a rather nice Ericsson walkman phone. Took it with me (it'd get stolen from lost and found) but there's no charge on it, and no USB. Any way I can get the owner's information from the SIM card or something so I can contact them about returning it? It looked fairly expensive so I figured they might want it back.
