As some who's owned both, the Touch actually does improve a great deal over the Voyager, but it's not something you'd notice unless you got some quality time in with it. On the surface, they seem pretty similar, but the Touch really trumps the Voyager big-time.

I did some research into Boost when I was thinking of dumping Verizon. They seem okay, but their coverage isn't great outside of major cities. Their phones (especially the Clutch) are decent yet very basic but can be made better if you mod them (replace the default web browser with Opera Mini and Boost's GPS Navigation for Life in Pocket, for example).

Some big Sprint announcement tomorrow? Some rumors say it could be free mobile-to-mobile no matter the provider, but I hope it's something that I could actually benefit from--I get something like 1,500 minutes on our current plan and it's more than I'll ever, ever use. I could probably get by on 1,500 minutes a year.

Also, Pre dropped price to $150 and Palm announced the new Pixi, which is like a Pre-lite and will probably run $99. Web OS with physical keyboard, no slider, not as powerful processor.

I played around with a Pre the other day. Neat, but it IS sluggish at times. And only people with dinky little girl fingers could possibly use that tiny fucking keypad. I'd say it's the worst cell keypad I've ever seen.

Yeah, Pre's not nearly as silky as the new iPhone, it hiccups, but it's getting smoother with each update Palm pushes out. There's a 1.2 update that should be out this month, I'm hoping they continue ironing out the performance while enhancing usability. And the buttons are definitely small, but I have no problem typing.

And looks like the Sprint rumors were true, they're adding unlimited minutes to their $70 plan, which includes unlimited texts and data. What's unlimited minutes + texts + data cost elsewhere?

That's 90-100 on verizon.

Unlimited texts and data is $50 on the iphone.
