Kingdom Hearts is pretty light hearted, but just underneath it's surface is a very dark theme. DAAAAAARK!
Heres the picture I used for my avatar after being shrunk about 200%. I tried to give it a chalky style appearance..like a really fleshed out drawing from the hidden place-
If Kingdom Hearts has a dark theme, so does Sleeping Beauty.
Wasn't one of the weapons white? Like Ultima or whichever had the cannon that was going to shoot the main town?Quote:

The dark themes are laughably over the top, and anyway, evil characters have been pretty common in Disney movies.
There's also Sora's introspection in the begining of the game: "Is any of this for real . . . or not?" That's one Hell of a question to open up a "light-hearted" game with. It's philosophical, and not only that, but it's the darker side of philosophy. Existence. He's questioning his own existence! His emotions for Kairi, his friendship with Riku, etc.
And then there's Riku. A friend turned twisted puppet subject to the manipulation of a darker, more evil entity.
It's rife with dark, mature, seedy themes. Just because you're swinging on vines with Tarzan and swimming through the ocean with Ariel doesn't make it any less dark.
Yes. Diamond Weapon, but it was a lot more bulky than this thing. And there's that symbol on it's face to consider as well. I doesn't look like the barbed-wire heartless heart, and I'm sure it's not some kind of face marking. Meh, I could be wrong.Quote:
