I bought a Laseractive not too long ago, and I use an optical cable for sound. However when trying to play Genesis/ Sega CD games, I either get no audio, or only during the FMV's on the Sega CD games. Do I have to use regular composite audio for the games, or am i doing something wrong?
Yes you do (have to use the standard A/V red/white cables)
that sucks, because, you know, the Sega's sound chip was..so great..I just wanted the best possible connection. I was just playing Sonic CD, and though I could hear none of the sound effects, the music did sound really nice.
