I think its getting to where we need a computer support section on the forum, what does everyone else think?
It would keep all the answers in one place so people needing help could go back through the answers that have been given.
We could sticky faqs and links to important sites at the top etc...

I was thinking of stickying a thread where people can post computer issues, myself. There doesn't really need to be a whole new forum for it.
In fact, I'm gonna do that right now.
I think it would be great if we had one. Especially if people could also post tech news and tips in it.

Considering that XP and IE won't be updated until 2005, buying a Mac would be a decent move -- especially when a G5 loaded with Panther will be around $2000.

Or you can get Mandrake Linux. Ive been using it for a few months now, and it hasn't crashed on me once. Both Windows and Mac based computers have.....linux is great and free. You have nothing to lose :)
Im not even a Mac user... Windows is trash though. As of the moment, I have two taskbars because for some reason Windows decided to split up my taskbar when I booted up and I cant do anything to fix it except, I dunno, reformat my damn computer. And if you need more proof of Windows' suckiness, just look at the SQL Slammer, SoBig, Blaster, and who knows what other viruses are ravaging the internet. And all of these viruses came out AFTER Microsoft announced their "initiative" to lockdown Windows and increase security. And many of these viruses, I know Slammer did it, use buffer overflows, which are the most BASIC way to write a virus or hack... the fact that that was still in the XP code even after Microsoft's supposed lockdown is... well its really funny.Quote:
