Fun Fact: Burkett's one postseason victory against the Yanks was with the Rangers in 1996, to date the franchise's only playoff victory ever.
Other than that, he's pretty fuggin' terrible against 'em. Still, he did beat 'em as a Ranger in the '96 playoffs with a similarly potent offense backing him up, so I suppose anything is possible. |-)

Hah, possible criminal investigation against Nelson and Garcia. Can't say I'd really care, since there is no way to prove a case either way.

Also, on the note of Garcia and Nelson, the charges of them being charged with assault and battery has been discredited. I think it would be a pretty BS call, since all you've got his the groundskeeper's word vs the NY bullpen's. There's no way they should have even touched the groundkeeper and I won't back them, but at the same time, I can't say if they've done anything worthy of being charged with assault and battery.

Yes and threatening to kill a person is a totally innocous act. For the record, I don't think his throwing of Zimmer was horrendous. I beleive his taunting, and insinuating that he was going to throw at the head of Posada, to be the moronic deed of the night.
