Heredia hit walker, but every Yankee fan will admit he's a douche. The bitching about the all star games, the nonstop bitching in Seattle about the Mariners and the Yankees, and his general behavior is all reprehensible. But at least he holds up in pressure unlike a certain former Yankee and Mets pitcher.

Two Boston PD officers witnessed the attack and apparently agree with the groundskeeper. At least that's what I read at ESPN.

Mussina pitched a damn good ballgame but Wakefield was great. He left some batters just looking stupid.

Soriano will swing at anything. His at bat to end the game was terrible.

We have quite a series here. It's going to be a wild ride.

One half of Dale and Neumy (not sure which) stated that this was the final straw and Pedro shouldn't be back next year. He said he felt ashamed to watch the game tonight.

I've finally found the first annoying thing about living on the West Coast: the time East Coast games start over here. Seriously.

All these evening games between Yankees/BoSox start 7:45 PM EST, but 4:45 PST over here and I'm in school at that time. Missed the ENTIRE game tonight and will probably miss all of tomorrow's too. Dagnabit... :(

Looked like a stirring win for the Sox. With Lowe going tomorrow in Fenway where he pitches best and Pedro to pitch game 6 or (if it happens) game 7 in NY, the Sox are probably in good shape.

I guess we'll see what happens. I'll be surpised as hell if this doesn't go 7 games, however.

True that Ragnorak. Its something Im not very used to and in fact I dont like very much, my sense of "timing" for football season is totally out of whack (I always managed to wake up during NFL Countdown, watched that, then watched the games, etc.).

I know for a fact Im gonna miss at least 6 innings of tomorrow's game. Makes me sad, very sad.

You know a knuckleballer is nasty when he manages to strike out the side. The Sox are downright stupid if they don't pitch him in Game 7.
