That's a bunch of bullshit. The Cubs have had plenty of opportunities to seal this series, including after the foul ball in the 8th, and they failed to. Steve Bartman didn't let up 17 runs in 10+ innings.

FOX was wrong for bringing so much attention on Bartman when they, like the Cubs, should have just written it off as a foul ball and gotten on with the game. Hell, if I was Bartman, I'd sue FOX.

And I'm not even sure Alou was going to catch that ball anyway.

I agree with TheGooch. Like he said, 2 outs with no men on is a lot different than 1 out with a man on.

Buckner wasnt the only reason why the Red Sox melted down in 1986, but it set off a chain of events which sealed their fate. Same thing here.

Buckner committed an error that allowed the winning run to score. This fan did nothing but turn an out into a strike, and even that is very debatable. Then consider that he isn't on the payroll and he didn't even commit interference. There's really no comparison. And if there was...well, Bill Buckner and Mookie Wilson sell signed photos of his error now.

If Cubs fans blame their loss on anything but their team's historic chokejob and an amazing comeback by the Marlins, they don't deserve a championship team.

Congratulations to the Florida Marlins!!!! What a team!! Down 3 to 1 they just hit and pitch their way to the series! While in terms of money and ratings the Cubs would've been better, the Marlins were the better team. Now there's one more playoff game tomorrow and the series will be set!

Well this was an amazing NLCS... in fact this is by far the best postseason I have seen in my life.

but its kind of sad to see it end like that.

Anyway Im picking the Marlins to win it all. They are fucking ferocious and they seem to want it more than anyone.
