I was so fucking pissed that the cubs lost...I want boston to go to the WS.. But i will be pissed if they make it.. Imgine.. 5 outs away.. from probably a baseball fanboys dreams... beside another (Dodger vs YAnkee WS :P) Red Sox vs. Cubs.. damnt...
in Back to the Future the Cubs beat the Florda, gators.. what the hell..
Steve Bartman changed the future. Now his mother's going to have huge tits.
...But us Phillies fans sure do. Sucks for the Cubs. They got billy-goated hardcore.Quote:

I can't believe im typing this, but I'm gonna miss the majority of tonight's game to go see Elefant and Interpol. Oh well.
I'd like to think the Sox have a chance, but there's no way to know how this game will turn out. Look at the game, though. It's a veritable dream world. A win-and-you're-in game; Yanks, Sox; one team looking to regain the glory it has missed for a few years, one team looking to prove the masses wrong; Clemens pitching for the last time of his career against his first team; Pedro pitching probably his most important game yet; slumping hitters from both teams have awakened...
Tonight's gonna be a good game. I'll pay someone to tape it for me.
I didn't have an opinion before, but... Advantage: New York. I still think the game is up in the air, of course, and we won't know until the end. But New York has the majority of the balls in their court.
Yea, good call.Quote:

Momentum going in to this is on their side. I still think it might be too close to call, but if you put my back to the wall I'd have to say the Sox have it in them more so than the Yankees. Didn't help my choice either to see Yankee's fans leaving in the bottom of the 9th, before it was over.
Advantage: Sox by a slim margin. This game is going to wind up being everything Saturday should have been, or everything Saturday could have been. Either way we will all be entertained.
Damn shame about the cubs though. Goddamn shame.
How can anyone give the Yanks the advantage tonight?
Last 3 starts against the Sox at home, Clemens is 0-3 with an ERA bordering 12.
The only thing in the Sox's favor tonight is that in this series so far, the visiting team has more wins than the home team.
I NEVER count the Yankees out until the final out is made against them and the other team is ahead.
