Was'nt Battle Zone the first 3-D arcade game (1980)? If not the first 3-D title, it was the first arcade game to offer the first person perspective.
The Death Race game was inspired by the movie although I don't think it was licensed from it.
When I listed Sub Roc as the first 3d game, I meant in terms of 3d effects(like the Virtual Boy and SMS glasses).
There were a bunch of 3d perspective games before Battlezone but most of them were on-rails and didn't have full movement.
Mine was Tekken 2. Clearly the quality doesn't matter considering the goal at hand.Quote:
