The medium, writing, is the same. The fact that some of them are best sellers at all is scary. My point is that whether it's a small article on the web, a newspaper, an editorial or a best seller, it's still the same medium.
But, I see your point. The only problem with this book and others of its ilk is that the masses are too stupid or too lazy to do anything about it. My AP Social Studies teacher of long ago was passionate about "The Republic" in which we live. So passionate, in fact, that he spoke the truth about our government, its failings and the public's inability to escape the media and its constant drawing of the masses to the trough. He lost his job because he told the truth.
Know what? No one cared.
Voter fraud? Democrats? Republicans? Hell, yes.
It should shock no one that the wealthiest are "more equal" than others. It's always been that way, in nearly every form of government ever created.
I've heard stories from many immigrants who admired this country as a land of opportunity, wealth, and fair treatment. It's turning into a large conglomerate of corporations who have a single goal: profit.
The middle class is going the way of the dodo, the poor are getting poorer and the opportunities are drying up. It's going downhill. Fast. I never thought I'd consider leaving this country, but I am.
And George Bush isn't even the best example of what's wrong with this country, unfortunately.

Kay is not providing evidence, he is doing what Bush and his cabinet did before him.
When they were asked for proof they produced more unsubstantiated documents and allegations.
Kay since the mediastorm suddenly talked about Iraqi scientists who were killed for speaking about programs, who were those scientists, how do we know what Kay is telling is true, how come these executions werent reported when there is such media and government scrutiny going on in Iraq?
Seems more like damage control since he didnt find anything of substance and he is in danger of not receiving the funds necesary to continue the search then anything else at this point.
Its simple really Kay is doing the same thing Bush and his cabinet did before the war.
Saying he has PROOF but not providing anything of substance, nothing that can be independatly verified.
Well actually not entirely like I said he needs more money to continue looking so he says he is on to stuff but needs more money to be able to prove it.
