Good point, diffusion. Forgot to point out almost all those revered Joel skits and songs and riffs were written by Mike. Some of the skits where Joel just goes on forever (you know what I'm talking about...) were probably his own work. But seriously, Mike and Joel are equal in riffing at least. I'm not one of those Joel vs. Mike guys. :p
And yes Nintendo is already complacent.
I'm not going to bash any system but I agree it is a matter of preference. In order of most played first is PS2>XBOX>GC. The PS2 has the most variety in its library; the XBOX tends to have the best version of third party titles + a decent and ever improving online service and the GC has exclusive first party titles. Looking at my library I only play my GC when a new Nintendo game comes out Smash Brothers/Sunshine/Metroid/Zelda/FZero. Sunshine was disappointing overall; Zelda was too easy/had some super tedious parts. I enjoyed the RE remake and would have bought Ikaruga if I didn't have the DC import. I am wholly satisfied with Metroid Prime and FZero though. I like Billy Hatcher and I'm going to get Viewtiful Joe(which I believe isn't a system exclusive even) but when compared to the activity on my XBOX it doesn't measure up (PDO, JSRF, Halo, Gunvalkyrie, Otogi, Mechassault, Wolfenstein, KOTOR, Soul Calibur 2 (Controls better IMO) and many others.) Maybe if I imported GC titles or enjoyed Animal Crossing I'd have a different perspective. I like the GC itself just fine but I just find it gathering dust all too often.
Oh yeah, I too prefer Joel over Mike.
In fairness I was only referring to myself in regards to Billy Hatcher. I don't expect that game to be particularly popular or a system seller... it's just totally up my tree and I really want it. :sonic:Quote:

MVS's bit was funny, but 88 is correct. Very few people with any responsibilities can so devote themselves to a hobby. And "hobby" it is for the hardcore. Whereas, at one time (when I myself had essentially no responsiblities), I kept track of every Japanese company and pined for obscure (and often crappy) titles, now I just enjoy playing games occasionally. With the very minor exception of some DC stuff, this is the first generation where I have not bought a single new import release -- compared to the previous generations where the majority of my games are imports.
