I'm still confused as ever when people tell me how the XBox is killing the Gamecube.
To me, being slightly ahead in the US and dead-last in Japan does not equate to "killing" anything...

This price point is just what the doctor ordered.
I had a guy at work ask me if I had a Gamecube and if it was any good? He likes sports in general, so I told him yeah, it's pretty good and it has Madden.
Obviously he has'nt purchased a PS2, as everyone at the office knows him to be somewhat of a tight-wad. Nintendo's price must have peaked his interest in buying a game console and I'm sure those who have been waiting for a machine at a low price point will do the same as well.
