With the NFL season in full bloom, offices everywhere are starting the trash talk when it comes to their football pools. "Poor T.O., need some cheese with that whine?" one person says. "Who would've thunk the Bengals would ruin everyone's spreads?" another says. "So, does last place get anything this year?" a woeful individual in the back chirps. Ah yes, you can't beat the fun of a football season, and neither could PBMax as he took up the reigns and reeled in our ESPN Football review.

Nice review. It makes me wish I opted for this over Madden, but since I don't have an Xbox, the huge userbase that was gauranteed for online play with Madden(PS2) made it the mandatory purchase.

I'm hoping that this year's installment of NFL2K4 will garner more fans for next year's game.

Nice, I do feel the need to mention that the Air-Hockey in the Crib(tm) is quite posssibly the best mini-game ever!!

I wish online was a smooth as maddens...=( "there is a disvergence in the connection" I see this way too much...

I played online a number of times and encountered no lag problems.

(but that was through XBL)

You've been fortunate, every game i've played around 8 games and have had a waiting for remote system come up, one game even dropped. I know it wasnt the other guy dropping. Pretty much everyone i've played has said the same thing.
